Happy Thanksgiving
I’m thankful for each one of my children. I’m thankful for the memory of every kiss, every smile, hug and touch. I’m thankful for every scar, birthmark, and birth defect that reminds me of my time and experiences with them. I’m thankful for every acquaintance and family member who has made my heart full of lively and precious memories. I’m thankful for every memory that brings a smile and tear to my eye. I’m thankful for every new acquaintance and family member that will fill my future with enlightening and maybe life changing experiences. I’m thankful for the lost acquaintances and family members who have made a permanent impression on my life that will never be erased by the lack of their physical presence. As I enter this holiday season, I take nothing for granted, but embrace everything that I have. For one day very soon I could only have memories. Thank you to every one of you who are and will become a part of filling my life with the experiences that help to make me who I am…
As you enjoy this Thanksgiving season, your family, and your friends, and as you give thanks for all your many blessings, stop and say a prayer for those who will be enjoying this season alone, hospitalized, or with strangers. And be extra thankful if that is not you.
Happy Thanksgiving!
