Happy Memorial Day!

I especially want to say a humble and awed thank you to those who served in the armed forces who suffered as prisoners of war, and those whose loved ones never came home from their service. I simply can not imagine making such an amazing sacrifice for anyone except my children.

Greater love has no man (or woman) than this: that he would lay down his life for his friend...or a stranger!

Heavenly Father I give myself to you once again.
Let your wondrous thoughts toward me be reflected in all of my being.
I give you my body.
Let it be clean and healthy inside and out.
I give you my emotions.
Let them be pure and authentic both in essence and expression.
I give you my mind.
Let it be thoughtful and intelligent, and always surrendered to your supreme authority.
I give you my spirit.
Make it alive with purpose.
Make it radiate your Love and desires, not just for me, but for all of mankind.
Make it penetrate the hearts of the loveless and the lost.
Make it the most beautiful aspect of my being, outshining mind, body and soul.
Make all that I am, yours once again.
In Christ's name, Amen

According to Pandora, "Some things only get better in time :) Did you know that the diamonds on your jewellery took 1 billion years to form?"

Talk about ENDURING!!! Yikes!

And so we REALLY want to be a Woman of Honor, walking in God's Glory?!?! A diamond endures untold days of heat, pressure, isolation and obscurity in pure darkness in order to receive its brilliance, beauty and strength. And that is only a natural glory that may one day fade away. How much more is the cost of endurance for a Spiritual Glory that will never fade???
