The greatest gift we can give to God and others is ourselves. Our time, talent, gifts, and skills are the greatest investment we can make into our relationship with God and others. When we do this, we begin to reflect the greatness of the name of The Lord, the power found only through His name, the overwhelming love He has for His creation, and the wonder of the fullness He has in mind for us all.
The Lord no longer desire offerings and sacrifice of innocent and ignorant beasts of the land; He desires more than offerings and sacrifice of our earnings and income; He desires US, fully and completely, to be offered in devotion and service to Him, whatever that may look like. Has He gifted you to sing? Sing as an offering and sacrifice to His name, and encourage and comfort His people. Has He given you a talent for writing? Write to share His message, and to encourage and comfort His people. Has He called you to lead? Lead others to Him, and to find encouragement, comfort, and indeed all they need!
