Proverbs 31 Woman Study
Session 4
God prompted me to be vulnerable this past week as I continued on my journey to being "Worthy to Receive" the benefits He has in store for me. When we have experienced trauma, we frequently think that because of our history, we are defective and unworthy of God's purposes for our life. However, God will start to show us what it means to be a daughter of a King after we give Him our whole hearts and agenda. He has me doing more than just walking in faith in relation to several things I've been asking for. He is also showing me how special I am because of how He made me. I hope this message strikes a chord with you and seeps deep into your heart. We have to begin to see ourselves as God sees us. We are Earthly vessels being used for His Kingdom assignment. We are the Lord's Servants!!

Previous week video...Come along with us as we investigate what it entails to be consciously selective as a woman of God. The Proverbs 31 Woman was a wise woman who made decisions that were good for her family as well as herself. As women of God, it is essential that we adhere to God's Word when making decisions. According to Proverbs 31:12, it is essential that we do our husbands and children good rather than harm. As we continue to study the woman in Proverbs 31, we will notice that neither her time nor her money is wasted on idle or inefficient pursuits. She made her decisions carefully (31:16) and was confident in her future as a result of them. Let's finish a thorough analysis of our lives and consider how we can become more like the woman in Proverbs 31.

Dawn's Latest ReleasesThe Re-Purposed Life Volume 1 and Volume 2
The Re-Purposed Life series began as an idea based on a revelation I received after a grueling seven days of back to back job interviews. As a fifty something year old recent college graduate starting a new career, I was originally anxious sending out my resume. As interview invitation after invitation came pouring in, I was overwhelmed, but pleased. After each interview, I observed how even younger generations were impressed and inspired by the fact that I had changed careers mid-life. It was a sign to me about the way God directs our lives. I realized that God never lets us stay too long in one place or one state of being. He's about change. Change does more than present us with opportunities, it does something within us as well. Change keeps us sharp. Change keeps us flexible. Change keeps us youthful. But more than all that, the traits that come with EMBRACING change make us useful in a world where "old" things, and people, are increasingly sought to be disposed of. |
