The Season to Give Thanks
But first I would like to start out by saying how thankful I am to all of YOU, our MMM readers who have not only faithfully followed this blog, but have shared our page, made gracious comments, and prayed with us over the past two and a half years! You all make my heart swell with humility and gratitude! THANK YOU!!! And May you each have a wonderful Thanksgiving Season this year!
Please enjoy the below writing and feel free to share it with your loved ones and acquaintances, just as I have and hope to continue doing.
~Pouring my life out in worship, like Costly Oil~
I’m thankful for each one of my children. I’m thankful for the memory of every kiss, every smile, hug and touch. I’m thankful for every scar, birthmark, and birth defect that reminds me of my time and experiences with them. I’m thankful for every acquaintance and family member who has made my heart full of lively and precious memories. I’m thankful for every memory that brings a smile and tear to my eye. I’m thankful for every new acquaintance and family member that will fill my future with enlightening and maybe life changing experiences. I’m thankful for the lost acquaintances and family members who have made a permanent impression on my life that will never be erased by the lack of their physical presence. As I enter this holiday season, I take nothing for granted, but embrace everything that I have. For one day very soon I could only have memories. Thank you to every one of you who are and will become a part of filling my life with the experiences that help to make me who I am…
As you enjoy this Thanksgiving season, your family, and your friends, and as you give thanks for all your many blessings, stop and say a prayer for those who will be enjoying this season alone, hospitalized, or with strangers. And be extra thankful if that is not you.
