About Costly Oil

The Costly Oil Foundation...

Costly Oil is founded on the Biblical account of the woman who came and poured her flask of very costly oil onto the head of Christ. The account implies that this woman had lived a hard and sinful life, but had patiently stored away a small fortune in valuable, scented oil. This fortune had come at a great price to her personally. She cried great tears of love as she poured her oil on the head of Christ, giving him all of what she felt was most valuable about her life. And, He in turn pronounced that in doing so, she had fulfilled her purpose and had secured her legacy, forever.

Everything at Costly Oil is built upon a few basic truths that fuel our passion and help us fulfill our own life's purpose. These Primary Truths are:

God has ordained every person to be a ministry with a purpose to complete within their lifetime. And He has provided everything we need in order to complete our purpose.
The primary reason we become frustrated and malcontent with where we are in life, is because we don’t realize that right where we are is an assignment for us. Find your assignment, and there you find the purpose for your pain.
Even those things that seem to be designed to destroy, cheat, or persecute us, can possibly be a plan by God to bless or prosper us.

I believe that we, like that woman in the Biblical account above, have a reserve of treasure waiting to be unveiled. In spite of the life we may have lived, all of our experiences have worked together to further develop that God-given treasure. And when your personal treasure has come at a great cost, it is both precious and priceless!
